The family has been just as busy and productive as always…I was recently promoted to Bed Pan Cleaner. Great news right? The only downside is that with working all the time, I’ve been unable to focus on my cooking.

Promotions have actually been a frequent occurrence around the house lately. Dad has been promoted to Division Manager and has to hold meetings at the office.

Charlie must have done something very impressive on his first day as a snitch because at the end of the day, his boss went on and on about how impressed he was with Charlie before promoting him to Desk Jockey.

Mom’s recent promotion was quite possibly the strangest…There was an explosion in the lab leaving my mother completely scorched from head to toe. Aside from her under garments, there wasn’t a stitch of clothing left on her, but due to her dedication and level-headedness, the company promoted her to Aquatic Ecosystem Tweaker. Personally, I think they just promoted her so she wouldn’t quit due to the unsafe working conditions.

Mom didn’t seem to mind though…She went behind the science facility after work and started fishing in the pond located directly behind it despite her charred appearance. She had heard a rumor that a few scientist had stocked the pond with something they called a Robot Fish – whatever that meant – and she was eager to bring one home to show us.

I also received some very exciting news, I’m pregnant with my very first baby. Charlie and I had talked long and hard about having children after our wedding. He wants a large family and although I would prefer to only have one or two, I caved and agreed to have as many as he wanted.

I spent a majority of my pregnancy doing three things. In the mornings, I would tend to the family’s garden since Mom was off to work and one day, it would be my responsibility to keep the garden alive. Around lunch, I would head inside to make myself something to eat and then spend the rest of the afternoon watching the cooking channel trying to learn as many new recipes as I could while I was on maternity leave.

In the evening when Charlie would get off of work, we would spend time together playing a few games of chess, trying to outsmart each other. With the upcoming baby, the house was undergoing some minor renovations.

The months passed and before I even realized it, I was in my third trimester. My baby was scheduled to arrive anytime now and as I carried my bowl of cereal to the table, I wondered if I would ever be able to see my feet again.

The great thing about Charlie and this pregnancy is that he fusses over me each and every chance that he gets. He has read every pregnancy book that the local library has to offer, and spends hours on end talking about all the things he will soon be able to teach our son/daughter.

Later that very night, I went into labor…Charlie and I were just about to play a quick chess match before bed when the contractions hit. The pain was nearly to much to bare.

As prepared as Charlie believed he was for this day, he completely freaked out when the time came.

I had to get to a hospital. There was no way that I was going to be able to have my baby at home. I quickly changed into my everyday wear, but it was to late. The baby was coming now…

I gave birth to three very healthy and beautiful baby girls…
The first born was Chelsea who looked so much like her daddy. She had his black hair and green eyes. She was our little evil, genius.

The second born was Christine who was by fair the most unique of the triplets as she was the only one who inherited my blonde hair. Christine loves when I take her outside and I can already tell she is going to be a very athletic little girl.

Finally, there was Charity – my sweet, adorable little angel. Even at such a young age, I can already tell she is going to be kind-hearted little girl like her mother, and she’s a very friendly baby.
